Mark had a tough act to follow growing up.
Mark’s father was co-creator of Mad Magazine and editor for 29 years before he retired to Montana. Although, as an adolescent, Mark was never able to get his Mad submissions approved by the editor (nepotism failing miserably), he has been writing as a sideline throughout his career as a CFO. From a successful cookbook called Who Me Cook? (yes, he shamelessly ripped off his Dad’s coined term, What Me Worry?), to three years of Easter Seals Telethons and a great deal in-between, Mark kept his pencil sharp.
Growing up in the Feldstein household usually consisted of Mark telling a joke and his dad editing it to make it funnier.
After visiting his father’s 250-acre animal rescue ranch in 2012, Mark was inspired to write Finding a Forever Home, his first book of prose. The book includes stories about rescued dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, goats, llamas, bears, and many more, including a gay duck.
Mark Feldstein, a graduate from Northwestern University, is currently a CFO/Sales Manager for Gardner Outdoor and Pool Remodeling during the day and a writer at night. He lives in Irvine, California with his wife of 27 years. He has very little time to monkey around.
